ARTIST BIO

Greta Long was raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She is currently a senior at Pitzer College, where she is pursuing a major in Environmental Analysis and a minor in Studio Art. When she's not in class or creating artwork, she loves to practice yoga, hike mountains and travel to new places.

Greta primarily likes to create watercolor paintings and digital art. Within these pieces, she seeks to capture the profound, under-appreciated beauty of the natural world. Her artwork is characterized by saturated color schemes, integrated studies of plant and animal taxonomy, and her ethereal stylization of the earth's topography.
